Nghtmre Concert Live at Commodore Ballroom | Vancouver – January 09th, 2027
Commodore Ballroom is where the annual Vancouver International Folk Festival showcases diverse musical traditions. Hosting the Vancouver International Comedy Festival annually, the Commodore Ballroom has become a key venue for comedy. In 1978, the venue was the site of a historic show by the band The Police band. Undergoing a major restoration in the 1990s, the Commodore Ballroom preserved its vintage elements while modernizing its amenities. VIP balcony access can sometimes include a backstage tour, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the venue. The balcony's location offers a perfect balance between being part of the crowd and enjoying a secluded experience. From the Bill Reid Gallery, walk south on Hornby Street, turn left onto Robson Rd, then right onto Granville Rd to reach the Commodore Ballroom. If you're driving from Coquitlam, take the Lougheed Highway to Highway 1 westbound, exit onto Granville Street, and continue towards the south to the Commodore Ballroom.
